Colon Cancer is not an easy way to live or to leave this world. I urge people to get regular check ups and to make a decision to live a healthy life style. There is no guarantee of avoiding the disease but taking good care of ourselves increase the odds of not getting the cancer or catching the cancer while it is in a very treatable stage.

I am sorry for the loss of your friend and the pain and distress you must have experienced watching the progression of the illness to the end of life.
